Behind the Scenes: A Day with Jo Vanbelle in Brussels

On July 17, 2025, the creative team of Vanbelle Law Boutique came together in the vibrant heart of Brussels for a special production day. Visual storyteller Janneke Doornik and social media & content manager William Ijskes traveled to the office on Boulevard du Souverain to capture the day.

The day began with a warm welcome from Jo himself, followed by a short tour of the elegant office – a space that perfectly reflects the boutique style and international allure of Vanbelle Law Boutique. The office is located on one of Brussels’ most prestigious avenues, bordering the Sonian Forest. This location, where nature meets urban dynamism, symbolizes the combination of calm, focus, and international connectivity that Vanbelle Law Boutique embodies.

As the aroma of fresh coffee filled the space, the first portrait shots were taken. Janneke focused her lens on Jo’s natural expressions and subtle interactions, while William managed creative direction, camera angles, and social media content coordination.

From Idea to Execution

The Brussels shoot was the result of weeks of preparation in which William and Janneke combined their expertise. They developed a clear action plan with distinct phases: selecting suitable settings, designing creative formats, and aligning on visual style.

During the shoot, a variety of filming techniques were used. In addition to traditional cameras, a gimbal and drone were employed. The drone footage offered an impressive overview of the office and surrounding greenery – providing a fresh, dynamic dimension to the brand experience.
